What the chronotype is
- A person’s chronotype refers to their natural body wakefulness rhythm regulated by factors such as sleep, temperature, sunlight exposure (melatonin), and more. In other words, your chronotype reflects your natural peaks and dips in energy throughout the day! Our application determines whether you are a morning, hybrid, or night chronotype using historical sleep data to personalize your recommended tasks.
Morning type:
- Your peak productivity happens before most — in the morning! Take advantage of your natural rhythm to tackle tasks and feel accomplished while others are still asleep.
Hybrid type:
- Your circadian rhythm follows the sunlight and dark and you’ll be at your peak in the middle of the day — around noon! Take advantage of the sunlight and dark to regulate your rhythm.
Night type:
- You are a night person with a peak around noon and in the evening! Keep your bedtime in mind, and use the extra energy in the evening to tackle more tasks or pursue a hobby!
