Ever wondered why some parts of the day feel more energizing than others? We’ve got an answer for you – it’s all about your body’s internal clock, which relies on circadian rhythms. Circadian rhythms are like your body’s daily schedule, influencing when you feel alert and when you may feel sluggish.
Lifestack harnesses the power of these rhythms to create your personalized Energy Score. Here’s how it works:
How We Use Chronotypes to Improve Our Recommendations
Chronotypes refer to a person’s natural wakefulness rhythm regulated by factors such as sleep, temperature, light exposure (melatonin levels), and more. In other words, your chronotype reflects your natural peaks and dips in energy throughout the day! Lifestack determines whether you are a morning, hybrid, or night chronotype using your past sleep data, and adjusts your energy peaks accordingly to personalize your recommended tasks. For example, if you’re a morning chronotype, your morning energy peak will be significantly higher than your evening peak. This allows you to focus on high-energy tasks earlier in the day and reserve lower-energy activities for the evening when you’re not as energized.
What's Next?
We’re continually working on making your Energy Score even more precise. Keep an eye out for our future releases, which will include an updated Energy Score that integrates physiological measures from your wearables, as well as improvements to the self-reported measures that hone in on how you really feel. Our goal is to bring together both objective and subjective measures so that we can provide a more accurate and holistic understanding of your unique energy patterns. It’s like having your own personal energy coach, helping you optimize your day to perform your best.
